Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast in history to get a flawless score of 10 points in the Olympic event. Bela Karolyi later Romanian gymnastics coach, discovered Comaneci when she was just seven years old. She first competed in the junior national championships in 1969 placing 13th and she won the competition in the year 1970. In 1972, in an event for communist-controlled countries' junior athletes before the Olympics she won three gold medals. In 1973 and 1974 she won the junior champion in all aspects. The athlete won four golds and one silver medals at her first international competition for seniors, held in 1975. It was the first time she participated as an older senior. In 1976, she became the first female athlete in the world to use a backwards-double salto in order to take off parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. She began her career in the entertainment industry during her teenage years performing as the figure skating duo of their sibling Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6, 1942, on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol was a professional in the world of entertainment when she was a teenager. At the age of 13 Carol was an ice figure skater on the show Ice Capades with her sister Nina Wayne. Ice Capades was a show that featured ice-skating performed by actors.
